What was the rain amount for yesterday? Mom and Dad had 2.75 in their rain guage, but I don't think we got as much as Columbus.

I got lucky. As I was going home the hail hit. I was able to zip under the OClub canopy and wait out the hail. I was joined by two SF cars. It was dime sized hail. Even once the hail stopped, I had to do 15 halfway down 373 but after that, I was able to go pretty good. Talk about a last second add to February's total!

I came close to having a major oops on the way home. I made it almost to my turn on Spurline when the hail hit. I slowed down a good bit and made the turn, using the center markers I was able to creep down Spurline at about 15mph. When I turned on Ridge there were no center markers, but I thought I can sort of see the road and continued at the same crawl. I don't think I made it 20 ft before the left side dropped into the ditch. Just glad with all the problems I have with the Grand Cherokee, the 4wd isn't one of them.

Notice the amounts for this year already...we have almost caught up with the entire total for last year... By this time last year we had a total of 9 inches with a year total of 59 inches. Last year we were above our average for the year. I think we are going to have a long dry summer...not what we need.

Sorry for the delay...just realized I hadn't put up the new totals when I went to clear them on the weather station.

Have to get everyone at work to leave their rain gear at home one day. Then again, we dont need a flood.
