It has begun. We had rain from Tusacaloosa to Rising Fawn Georgia. We made it to Greenville TN, where we called it a day. I admit I'm tired. Thats one rough ride. We did over 500 miles. We had no trouble, save for a few careless drivers. The tail light that was bent in the crash Thursday lost a lens today, apparently it was cracked and fell out in front of Bill. No other problems, except I'm going to bed right now (7 PM).

Day two was awesome! We rode over to W. Va and took some great roads after we took a break at the New River Gorge Bridge...that thing is way off the water. Just a little rain but not in the twistys so that was a plus! More to come.

Back home and very tired...had a great time. Bonehead did great on the twisty's and seemed more confident after the dragon twice! All said and done, I would not recomend the BRP in two days...you need at least 4 to really enjoy it. There is always next time!

Home out of the rain. Had a great ride. Boomer is right. Needed more time on BRP. Wound up with 2149 miles for the trip.

I was looking at that road we took from the bridge on google maps...they call it an unimproved road...I would call that an understatement!

I've been looking at the brochure about the BRP and we were missing so much stuff because of time. Natural Bridge and the resting place and home of Robert E. Lee. Planning a trip for the fam in the future to see everything along the BRP we would want to see. Maybe even throw in a bike rental at the dragon for me. ;D

I agree...we thought we would have time since it was only 240 miles each day...really needs to be about 80-100 miles a day to enjoy it.
