Tuesday is going to be a wait and see day...the ride to work I predict will be nice but the ride home is the rub...showers are to move in over night. I will be looking at the radar and make my best guess rigfht before work.

Friday night I am supposed to ride to Oxford to be with Corey. I want to take the bike but 27 degrees for 2 or 3 hours, I not so sure. I'll see how this week goes.
I think I can stay warm, that's not the problem. The amount of layers needed makes movement harder and could make riding very tiring.

IMHO that's pushing the body too far...sitting in a 27 degree hunting stand for 2-3 hours is hard on the body...a 45-60 mph wind is dangerous. I would not attempt it...but it's your decision.

30 was the temp tonight on the scooter...nice night for a ride though since the wind quit.

I saw 27 in the cold spot on 25, 28-30 the rest of the way. Felt warmer on the bike than I did fueling on the ramp.

I don't know the temp for me but it wasn't too bad. I tried wearing the mittens over the lectric gloves and it made my hands crispy BUT it was very restricting. I think its good to know at least it works. My upper arms got pretty chilly because I forgot my sweater (won't do that again, packing a thinner one in the saddle bag just in case). I'm looking forward to tomorrow nights ride. I may call the dealer in Starkville and see if they have breath deflectors. If I could close the visor all the way I would be 100%.

Made trip fine. Deflector works great, good $5.15. Forgot to bag feet, only part that was cold. Typing on PDA, more Monday about wreck, not me.

I don't think I am going to push my luck tonight...calling for large hail and not giving specifics on a time line...just saying tonight so I will be in the truck.
