This week will be the first full week of cold riding. Looks like no rain, but cold temp - especially Thursday.

I didn't snap my left saddle bag Friday and somewhere between home and the Texaco on 45 it opened up and I lost my new face mask and one glove rain cover. I'll be looking this afternoon but I'm sure they are gone. Rhonda works Tupelo tomorrow and will try to get me onlther one. She's miffed I "lose" stuff. Can't blame her I guess. I have a halfazz mask in the meantime but its thicker and not helmet friendly. I have not found a place to replace rain covers by themselves. Anyone got a source? I needed to go one size bigger for the Widders anyway.

You do seem to be snake bite as far as loosing things on the bike goes.

I looked on the Widders site and you're right. They don't offer just a rain cover. Also looked on wingstuff.com, but they don't carry widder. Didn't see any thing else that would work, sorry.

I meant to thank you for the connector cover you gave me Bill. It was a little large, but with the addition of a small zip tie it is tight and won't fall off.
Thanks.
The ride home 13 Jan was a breeze. Jonathan saw 32 degrees on his bike. I was comfortable. We'll see how tomorrow night is, huh?

Last night I saw 25 most of the way down Hwy25. Will have the pack boots tonight. Feet got pretty cold by the time I got home. The rest of me had no problems.

26 was the lowest for me down in the bottom of Gatlin...Tonight's low is 21, Thursday is 9 and Friday is 7. I am sorry but I will be in a cage in those temps...Thursday we are going to Tupelo so I was going to be in a cage anyway, but Friday is an absolute.

Made it home fine. No real discomfort on any body part. I could tell my feet are cool, but not cold. Otherwise, I have the combination for me down pretty good. Its working for me. I'll wear the new hood Friday night.

Glad to hear you made it fine. I saw 21 on the truck coming home. Don't know if it's right, but it's in the neighborhood.

I'll be on the bike tonight...I think the low is 20. We probably won't see that before we leave.

The only glitch I had tonight was I needed gas and of course my wallet was 3 layers in and did not want to come out until I had almost removed 2 layers. Otherwise, it was okay.
