My ride Friday to the Farm was great. Other traffic was light and courteous. The weather held out until 12 miles from the end. But its just water and did not mess up the day. The road to the Farm is clay and sand and once wet turns into snot. The bike tried to get squirley twice but stayed up after all. The ride home was event free and nice.
Matt was able to get the tractor runing and he cut a bunch of the farm and had it really looking great. I've got to cut some of the trees which have grown around the edges.
Matt really worked his tail off. He repalced the kitchen faucet and did all that cutting.

My latest trip was also good. No problems except a stupid possum sent to heaven in Alabama when all he had to do was sit still. When I swerved left he ran into the tire. OOOOPPPPS.
No sign of the muskrat. Snakes hauled themselves away too. We got the tub leaks fuxed and next trip will be the attack on the roof.
After all the searching for rain boots, there were two pair of size 9's which may "work". I'm sure I'll come up with something.

Glad the trip was a good one. Did the possum make the bike go bump?

Less than my white knuckles were expecting. As Yosemite Sam says,"Possums is so stupid!"
It happened pretty fast: I saw it, zigged, he zigged, tense, thump, "That wasn't so bad!" My spidey senses were buzzing after that the rest of the trip (about 25 minutes).
ADDED: Went past previous owners 4 year mileage today in less that 11 months and still climbing (chasing Bill). Got 2 to 3 years to get it done before I switch to a Burgman 650 Exec. If I keep going like I am today, will have about 41K on it.
