Now is the time to be thinking about your winter gear...you can find it at a good price right now. For those of you who are planning riding this winter for the first time here is a list of nice things to have:
Full Face Helmet or face mask that extends to the neck. Gauntlet leather gloves or heated gloves Coveralls or a snow suit...I prefer bib coveralls (Wal-Mart has them now) and a good jacket and hoodie combo. Very versatile for different weather conditions. Ankle gators

Been looking at the electric clothing for over 2 years now. Syenergy makes some with the controller already in the items. Jacket and glove set will be 300+, but for my distance, I think that might not be a bad investment. Did alright last year with the snowmobile suit, but still would like to be a little warmer, especially on a really cold night.
Which Wally world did you see the winter bibs in?

Good. I have got to replace my work jumpsuit. After 5 years, it is pretty used up. Plan on getting the bib type this time.

I will need xl probably in black or dark blue. For work. Looking at synergy electric cloths. They have the controller already with them, and with most, you have to buy that extra.

Something else you might not have thought of is a good anti-fog for the visor ...just make sure it is made for motorcycle visors...regular anti-fog could mess up the visor if it is intended for glass.

Boomer, Did the reflective tape show up on my jacket pretty well? It claims to reflect up to 1200 feet.

Yeah it showed up good but I don't think it will stay on long if you are riding in the rain alot...I also am wondering about how long it will stay on in the really cold temps.
