I don't think my rain gear is good enough to put up with Fay so I will be trucking it today.

Fay has made sure I won't get to ride for at least a few days, since I'll have a lifting waiver and won't be able to risk a fall or accident. Was going to ride anyway today but the front tire needs to be saved for 5 September!
See ya in my truck too!

I think Florida asked for rain just once too many times...here comes Gustav on the heels of Fay.

They must work for the same company we work for...any excuse to lay more people off....say we are over manned.

I'm almost over a bad cold, think I'll not tempt the Nyquil gods. I'll forgo a nice ride, for a healthy ride, I guess.

Talked to Mom and Dad this morning - Dad said he poured out 3 inches out of the rain gauge he has in front of the house. Supposed to get 2 more today. The bottom is flooded again - water is half way up to the point.

The creek crossing Lehmberg has flooded from the shell station to the 82 overpass. The pond on the Lehmberg bypass has almost a water cannon coming out the culvert and the pond has overflowed its banks. Boomer is right, there was a herd of water in the last 2 days. But today WE RIDE!
