I think Columbus had forgotten how easy it floods....this took alot of people by surprise. We have been lucky since they dredged and channeled the lux but East Columbus used to flood every time it would rain.

True, but I remember all of Columbus use to flood prior to the Waterway. If nothing else, it did ease the flooding problem for West Columbus.

My rain suit and overboots arrived today. They are both made well. They will be in my saddlebags from now on. Plenty of 3M reflective on the shoulders, sleeves and legs.

Ran the TourMaster II one piece from home to Jackson today. No heavy rain but there was an almost constant sprinkle. It was comfortable and works better than advertised! Overboots did a fine job! Kept wondering why the map pocket was so shallow. My glasses wouldn't even fit! Then I noticed a protected zipper to a waterproof pouch. Imagine that!
Need to devise a seal for the top of the visor. Water trickles inside the visor. But, it may mess up ventilation, I'll have to research it or just test it to see.

Wore the rain suit home from Jackson this afternoon. No rain. Once we got home here comes the rain. Go figure.
I bought a bottle of Blue Away last week. During warmups today I went out and tried it and it really works. Just need some metal polish now. I left a 1/4 strip on the lower pipe for contrast. It'll be gone soon. Also did a rub on the bike and figured that would bring a big storm.
