Well, I finally did it - ordered the heated jacket, pants, and gloves from WingStuff.com. Total was 414.00, which was 75 off the regular price. Think the gloves will be going backorder, but the others should ship by the end of the week. Went with the Synergy ones. From all post, they should really work good this winter.

;D Good on ya!
I know you have been wanting a set of those for a while and the gloves aren't a big deal due to the heated grips so they can come in later with no problems. I like the set you picked due to the carbon fiber elements heats the whole suit instead of just hot spots...I had a set of heated socks once and the toes would burn up and the heels would freeze...they sucked.

Well the jacket and pants came in yesterday. That was quick! Just got the conformation notice day before yesterday. Gloves did go backordered. Tried them on and fit felt really good. Now I'll have to wire the bike and try them out on the first cold day. Will keep you posted.

You know you love to ride when the accessories you buy to ride cost more than the bike you ride. . . . .

Got everything wired in on the bike. Wasn't much: remove the seat and the left side panel that covers the battery. Took the switch and wire harness for the cool vest out. (should be over the worse of the heat for this year. Put it in the cooler and stored it for next year). Waited till 8:30PM to try it out. THIS IS GOING TO MAKE RIDING HOME IN THE WINTER TIME FUN! Like being wrapped up in an electric blanket. Had the pants hooked to the jacket and ran it on the jacket's controller. Took about 30-45 seconds on low to start feeling heat. Went to medium and after about 30 second, had enough and turned it off. (Starting to sweat.) Nice thing about the jacket is that the collar is also heated.
This setup can be wired into any bike with a battery and a charging system. The power cord connects directly to the battery post using the bolts for the leads.

:DNo more "too cold for me" rides for you...now you can ride when I ride in the winter. There wasn't a whole lot of em but I remember a few days I rode and you brought the truck cause it was gonna be like 18 or some silly crap like that ...I think that is in the past. Nice choice of gear!

Got to try out the jacket in Hot Springs. Found a spot for supper about 15 miles away. Got done, it was dark and about 65. Thing worked great. Bet Boomer would have paid double for one on the ride back to the room. Drove off without a jacket, and all he had on was a tee shirt. Ask him how he was doing back there, all he could do was mumble.

65 never felt so cold! Yep after that I had the jacket in the trunk no matter where we were going. I don't think it got over 77 the whole day...it was kind of cool the entire trip.

Best money I ever spent for me and the bike. It was 54 on the way home last night and I had the jacket liner and pant liner over my work cloths. Was comfortable all the way home. I'll bet that when the temp really dips (30's) them and a set of coveralls will be just right. Won't have to look like the Michelin man any more. Appreciate the help tonight.
