Boomer said I should post this. I've found on the net that applying a thin coat of dishwashing detergent is a cheap way of preventing visor fogging. I tried it and it works. When fogging does beging to start a few days later, apply another thin coat.

Being the Technical section, let everyone know how you apply it so there are as few questions as posible...I had a lot of questions last night about it, so give us your tips on it.

I folded a paper towel down to a 2 inch square. I wet it and sqeezed out the water. Then I put a nickel size drop on the middle and spread it around evenly. Then I applied a thin layer on the inside of the face shield as evenly as possible. Let it dry a bit and ride. Again, I highly recommend scent-free. Jim said he heard non-abrasive toothpaste will do the same thing. Haven't tried that, but will in the future

I have never heard of not abrasive tooth paste...in fact all tooth paste's have to have some abrasive qualities to it for it to work...plus it doesn't come out clear from the tube. Most toothpaste has sand in it.

I have found wax to not last as long as the dishsoap...but if you clean the inside of your visor allot, wax is great and easier to apply.
