One step closer to having comm. Picked up a mag mount CB antenna tonight and snap connectors for the power connection. Step by step.
We also went to Tuscaloosa shopping today. We hit Academy Sports, Woods and Water, Wal-Mart, and Target with no battery heated gloves to be found. Rhonda is going to see if there's any in Tupelo next week. In the meantime, I've got warm packs for any really cold nights.
Excited about the comm coming together! Hardest part will be the speakers, mic and PTT.

We decided as quick as when we got to the turn for Hwy 82! Rhonda and I FORGOT the Tide was playing in T-town this weekend. We got there JUST as the game let out.
I'm sure the wiring job for the comm will be the most ugly thing since Frankenstien, but if I can make it work, old Frank is okay.
We didn't eat at Full Moon. Instead we opted for Picadilly since we were trying to wait out the game traffic and were stuck in the mall.

We decided as quick as when we got to the turn for Hwy 82! Rhonda and I FORGOT the Tide was playing in T-town this weekend. We got there JUST as the game let out. Yeah I was over there getting my new motor, but luckily I was able to leave before the game traffic got bad. On a side note, James tried to kill me on the way to the guys house. There were some lines that started off small and widened till they got to the speed bumps. These were not just regular speed bumps, for those that believe in the big bang speed bump theory these were the ones that started it all. Anyway he got a bad case of target fixation on those lines, that were warning us about the bumps (small mountains), and NEVER saw them. Needless to say we hit the 1st bump at about 40mph and needless to say I saw my life flash before my eyes (upon seeing that, I might need to ask for a refund). I'm sure anyone witnessing this, would have been impressed with the bass James has in his truck, from my stomping the hell out of the imaginary brake pedal on my side.

I worked on the CB today and it just isn't going to pan out. Everything works except for the headset portion.
I accidentally bid $250 on a Integratr IV setup today. Oops. Thought I was sniping it! My fanny will be in the wind IF I actually win it!
Here's what it says: A great value for a two bike CB setup. All J&M parts. Very good condition with all hookups, mounting hardware and instructions. 2 Headsets # HS-BCD257-UN for flip up style helmets like Nolan N102, etc.
2 Cobra HH38WXST CB's. with weather channels.
2 PACB-409-15 AudioPaks. 2 JM-HC-PB lower cords.
1 JMSR-4020 Audio system Intergratr 1V with 1 helmet cord for the above headset. Cell phone adapter cord and CB connector cord. also includes the 12V power adapter for the Intergratr.
This is a $900.00 value. I only used this on one trip. I have recently sold the bikes these were used on. Please check the J&M Corp. website for info on the intergratr IV. It has inputs for many audio sources including radar and GPS and MP3.
Doesn't matter now. . . .I lost it. . . . . whew sort of. . . . . .
