Jonathan and I have our fuel pumps. I've selected a 6qt flat top cooler for my tank. I have the tak to pump supply line and a toggle switch for on-off operation. Tomorrow I'll pick up the rest of my tubing and reducers for smaller tubing. I also need a union to eliminate the filter.
Should be able to at least be 75% done tomorrow. I know I'll get an ops check on the flow tomorrow.

You will like it when you're done. I used 35 feet of tubing in mine, and if you go with a smaller tubing than mine, you probably could use 35-40 feet.

I don't need a cold suit being as close to work as I am...but I needed the pump to get a friends scooter up and running.

I have my cold shirt 95% done. I am going to do a test run this afternoon. Boy, is it Beverly Hillbilly, BUT, static, it works like a champ. Just have to put it on, ride and see how it does. There may be some tweaking to come, I don't know.

Shirt setup worked great. A few tweaks to make, as expected. Need to insulate the lines to the shirt and make the lines quick disconnect at the cooler for easier servicing. Still need to add the switch to the electrical too.
Thanks Bill for an excellent design! You are the man!

Your welcome. Mine sure did beat the heat back last summer when it got so hot. I said if I got over that last heat problem, I would do something to prevent it from happening again. The cool vest did the job. Takes a little time for prep, but when you're peculating under the heat, it's worth it.

"Finished" the cold shirt. 1. added a on-off switch close to the vest and 2. added velcro to the lid for positive closure. I'll try it out this week while I am off.

Block (milk carton) ice does do well. I put the ice in the cooler Monday at 1245. Tuesday at 0830 there was still an ice chunk in the cooler.
I had Rhonda cut off a light-weight long sleeve shirt so it has just the chest and sleeves are there, much cooler for my rides. Had to explain the Joe Rocketis safer but is so hot. May start looking for a cooler jacket. Mine is fine for 70 and below. Of course I sweat in winter, except for the hands.
Love my riding!

I've got to wire my bike back for the pump. Got to take the seat off to do that. Probably will do that this weekend.

A light colored Phoenix or Icon would be cooler...that black color just absorbs the heat.
