I called Boat Gallery this morning and the bearings are $12.33 ea and the oil seals are 5.75 each AND if they install its $68.00 or so. I'm not feeling real peppy this morning so I'm going to order the bearings AFTER I get the front end lifted in the morning and if there is no slack, I may change them NEXT tire change or after I pick up the pieces along the side of the road. . . . . .
We'll talk about the rubber change tonight and I'll see about the bearings when I am removing the tire. Will ask if Snowlf knows if the hobby shop has the tools to remove and press in the bearings and seals.

Netminder - remember 1300 Hobby shop. Wheel off and ready for new rubber. Bearings checked good before it came off. Thanks ahead of time!

Bill called before 1200 and said we just might have time to change the rubber, get back to my house, install the wheel and drive the bike to work. And we did it. Bill is a hoss on that tire changing machine. If you've never seen him work it, you have missed the maestro!
One just has to be very careful the first few miles - them new tires is sticky and just may not turn like the worn out tires did (been there, done that)
Thanks Bill!

No problem. Glad to help a fellow biker NOT get taken to the cleaners by a local Stealer.
